You are an HR Manager. Not just any ordinary HR Manager though. You stay up to date with all of the new tech and really know your way around complex computer systems.Your previous experience working in the tech / startup industry serves you well as you are not fazed by any technologies.

You are the sage overseer of the human resources department and the glue that holds Bytion’s management, in-house employees and remote employees together. You not only know your way around policies and procedures, but you are all up to date with all of the latest HR technologies. Your excellent with people, that’s a given. And your leadership and decision-making skills are top notch. Your nurture a positive work environment with that awesome smile of yours .

You are a damn good recruiter as well. You attract, motivate and retain Bytion talent (both in-house and remote) by directing the administrative functions of the HR department. Designing and implementing an overall recruiting strategy will be a major part of your job. Time and time again you find the perfect match for the job. You play a crucial role in ensuring we have a strong talent pipeline.



  • Effectively manage existing staff (In-house and remote)
  • Recruiting In-house and remote tech talent
  • On-boarding employees and contractors
  • Setting up new staff – instructing them on polices and procedures to get them ready for work 
  • Training session monitoring – provide training instructions, monitor progress and and review results
  • Manage existing polices and procedures including company-wide and department specific
  • Develop, revise and optimize company and/or department polices and procedures
  • Time Tracking Management – review and verify work, manage time off, payment and direct deposit verification, scheduled employee/contractor reviews 
  • Assist in sourcing, interviewing and hiring remote contractors
  • ​Management of User Access for all staff and freelancers
  • Keeping the staff up to date on all changes and updates
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management


  • Experience working in a tech company or startup
  • Experience in HR dealing with mixed location teams (in-house and remote) and recruiting tech talent
  • Very good knowledge of current tech and updated in latest HR technologies
  • Experience in creating policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized filing, time management and personal efficiency skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle conflict like a Zen Master
  • Strong problem-solving skills
