Bytion is looking to for our first IT Generalist to build, scale and manage our infrastructure that supports our growing team. We are looking for someone who as a strong passion for support and loves solving problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding on server management and ability to provide exceptional support and continue to protect Bytion’s network infrastructure. You will implement, advocate for and innovatively support Bytion’s workplace technology footprint from application administration to collaboration solutions. Theres a healthy dose of desktop support, so Apple troubleshooting experience would be a benefit.

You research and play with new technologies in your spare time, and you know how to translate complex technical ideas for non-technical people. You don't take things at face value because 'that's the way they are done', but rather seek to understand the reasons and then take steps to improve. You are tenacious in pursuit of understanding, getting to the bottom of an issue to prevent it from recurring, and help the team by documenting your journey and successes. You will have worked in a Desktop Support or System Administrator role with 3-5 years experience across a variety of technologies.

Bytion, a 7 year old tech company, is in a rapid growth stage and is in need of a dedicated IT professional able to manage and support our in-house and remote team’s technical needs. Prior to this role, our extremely tech savvy founders have managed the company's IT. You’ll be managing and improving the way we use our workplace technologies and cloud applications, to providing technical support to the team and ensuring all internal technical operations are optimal. You’ll also be working to constantly improve the way teams collaborate and work together with our technologies and assist key team members achieve goals using technologies, including HR, Finance and Executive teams.
